The Westport Cape Cod Floor plan is stunning. It looks like a great home for a growing family because many of its features are especially useful for families with young kids. The first thing I notice about this floor plan is the fact that the foyer/entryway is very open, giving the home a nice elegant and roomy feel from the moment one steps inside the door. The next thing that is great about this floor plan is the layout of the kitchen. I love that it has an island for easy access to counter space while cooking. Having a window right above the sink that looks out into the backyard is wonderful for families with kids. Mom or dad can keep an eye on the kids playing outside while they work in the kitchen. A nook sits right next to the kitchen for easy serving and clean up of informal meals. The dining room is easily accessible from the kitchen for formal entertaining. A spacious family room sits in the back of the house, which is great because it can't be seem from the front door.
