Editorial Review | Timberland Homes is an interesting modular home provider. They are unlike most others you will find. They do not build inside a factory, they allow for custom homes to be purchased directly from them and they are capable of servicing Alaska. If you are in a unique situation then they can be a good choice. But since they build outside of a factory and are a very small operation we feel there are better modular home manufacturers available for most modular home buyers looking for a standard home. |

Personal Reviews of Timberland Homes

Our was a lot model .we fell in love with it .Waited for them to mive it Bought it.30+ yes like new inside just needs paint now

We like the home it is still like new after 13 years. The problem is they do not honor their warranty. We have twice had major problems due to cheap material for floor and roof decking. The warranty is for fifteen years. It is worthless! I would avoid buying a home from these people they do use cheap materials and do not stand by their warranty. They get your money then pretend they do not know you and use every possible excuse not to help you even if the warranty states you are covered. Bad customer service and condescending attitude.

We had a water problem that didn't show up for 6 years. The Timberland crew showed up within 2 weeks and totally fixed the problem and even used better material than the original construction. Problems can happen anywhere, it's how the company reacts that counts and their response was super.

Bought a house in Early 90s arctic pac so-called, problems in plumbing in masterbath. Understand since the time that has passed. Until I seen the way it was framed, and what I seen. Can't believe it passed Washington State code. Very unhappy wondering what the rest of the house is like.Looking in to it and what options I have. Very Unhappy. Love to here your side. Worked public works for 25 years and been around codes for a long time, guess you can't trust people all the time. It is time to make it known. Do you stand bebind your product?

We have had our home built by Timberland for 5 plus years and are still waiting for them to repair major issues. It looks like were heading to court. Buyer beware. They used substandered material and untrained people to install our sideing.

I especcially like the Lopez unit
