SSI recently built and set our house. Great company to work with. We selected one of their standard models and customized it. Jerry Stump and his team were great incorporating our requests into the plans. We looked at other modular manufacturers and SSI was by far the best house. Well built, no sagging floors, 7/12 roof pitch, Key West trim and quality throughout. The set and finish team did a great job putting the modules together and making it look like it was always one piece. Great work and I highly recommend Southern Structures!!!

Irma zero, Southern Structures five. The residence is five houses from the bay on the ocean side. And survived the first major hurricane hit in 57 years, it was finished +/- ten years ago. It has proven to be structurally sound, as was the ground work to install. The GC work was completed by " Keyes Construction". The stairs up the porch, the porch and dock all are functional, thou repairs are in order and a new paint color. Thank you for your collective guidance and help from design to completion.

Southern Structures is an outstanding company. Jerry Stump, the owner, met with us and answered every question we had. Janet Delph has to be one of the best office managers we have ever dealt with. She is so knowledgable of the company and helped us through the process of building in more ways then we can mention. They listened to what we wanted in a house and helped us choose the right model home that met our needs and modify it to what we wanted. It is a beautiful house and everyone who visits it cannot believe that it is a modular. The quality of work is exemplary. Kenny and the crew are the best. We would highly recommend this company to anyone who is seriously considering building a modular home.

My wife and I are beyond pleased with our Southern Structures home. We did over a year of research before we decided to go with SSI. There are several reasons that we ended up using SSI. The quality of SSI buildings was much better than many of the other manufacturers we looked at. We watched several homes placed and walked through them all, The SSI homes were better constructed in our observations. SSI also was much more willing to work with us on changes that we wanted to make to the floor plan than anyone else we talked to. We were able to eliminate windows, move windows, add windows and create a whole new kitchen layout in a very easy process. We were very picky about what appliances we wanted and SSI worked with us to make sure all of our choices would fit the layout. Before finalizing the deal I talked with other SSI home owners and ALL of them had good things to say about their homes and seemed happy with the experience. The construction process was a bit slower than we would have liked but even a month into the process we were still able to make a few minor changes in order to make the house fit us better. My wife and I appreciated the flexibility that they offered. When it came time to set the home, the SSI crew worked very well with my site contractor. The process to set all 4 pieces went well, even though they had some new crew members it went much faster than I had expected. Experience mattered. The house was finished in a reasonable amount of time and their on-site crew worked well with my site contractor and gave us a very nice home. We have been in the house for a little over a year. I have had to have SSI back twice for very minor issues, one for some trim work that needed sanded and painted and the other was a 'me issue' with one of the windows. They jumped right in and took care of it for me even though it really wasn't a problem they caused. We are proud to show off our SSI home and have often recommended SSI to people we know that are in the market for a Modular home.

I am a huge fan of Southern Structures! I appreciate the fact that they are a family-based business with over 30 years experience in building modulars, with an excellent reputation, taking pride in their history of craftsmanship and personalized customer service. I had researched several modular builders across the country and few of them would deal directly with the owner who wanted to act as their own project manager. Jerry Stump, wife Chris and office manager Janet Delph patiently answered all my questions from initial design, site work and permitting advice to final completion. Kenny and the field crew have been equally helpful and supportive in every way. Although my house was a smaller project, every feature that I requested was considered and a way to incorporate it was found. Even though many of the projects they undertake are much larger by comparison, I was always made to feel more like a family member than a client. This is not typically the way things are done with many construction firms today. Everyone who has visited my new house has commented on the high degree of quality, in terms of materials, craftsmanship and attention to detail, especially in view of the affordable price. Even the subcontractors and building inspectors were impressed! The other aspect which provides a great deal of security is knowing that Southern Structures buildings have even stood up to storms which have leveled traditional site-built homes. I first investigated modular homes after learning about FEMA's research into how they withstood the effects of Hurricane Andrew, which destroyed swathes of neighborhoods and left modular homes standing. When I found out they were built by Southern Structures I was truly impressed! The fact that they are also energy efficient was also very important to me. Whether your project is large or small, you owe it to yourself or your client to consider this exemplary company!

SSI did a fantastic job on our modular home. The home was constructed with quality in mind and completed on time within budget. No after the fact change orders. They communicated with us throughout the project and were very receptive to our wants and needs when it came to customizing our layout plan. Their set & finish crew did a great job and worked diligently on our project. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and that's 99 percent of the battle in construction. SSI lived up to their reputation as being a quality contractor. Glad to see there are still builders like them serving the community.

Southern Structure Inc., built a custom home for me and I have been it it for 2 years now. I am very pleased with the home. I would highly recommend SSI. They were great to work with and showed a real caring attitude during the whole process.
