Editor's Rating |
|
Editorial Review | They are a premium modular home builder. They have a wide amount of variation and options for any level of home buyer but especially upper-end home buyers. At first our mystery buyer was very disappointed with Signature Building Systems since she only received a postcard invitation to an open house with no more information. Then a few days later a thick package of information came via UPS. |

This place is a joke. They DO NOT care about their employees. They work hard for them. They never get a raise or bonus. For thanksgiving nothing. Christmas all they get is a coupon for a blimpe sandwich. Come on yall. That's not right. without them they wouldn't have a job. They r sorry.

I have been in the construction business for over 40yrs and have never had seen such sub par construction in my whole life. I wish I would have never have bought a Signature built home, they are junk. The service rep. Was at my house, told me that he would be in touch with me the next morning by 8am, bull, that was 8 days ago.. They stand behind what they sell, just like buying a new car. The company that sold me the home is wonderful, the maker of the home is terrible,"Signature"

7 years down the road and still not 1 complaint on quality & cost from our dealing with Signature. Wife & I love the house. Would do it all over again with this company, but would be more selective with the builder & set crew. House is excellent, but would never have any dealings with this builder & set crew.

I have a Signature home. It's the worst decision I've ever made.8+ months and it's still not ready. We've had a 6 foot crack in a girder that was allowable by signature , damaged roof rafters, and 3 holes drilled in another support girder used to lift the girder by cables. All this was found by my home inspector. When we contacted Signature, they said not our problem. The builder said it came this way. A structural engineer was brought in.Major repairs were made by the builder to make it sound. Pete B. of Signature told me to address all my questions to the builder and leave him alone. So now I want to let as many people as possible, in my opinion, how horrible Signature is.

I promised an update and here it is. I have NO complaints on Signature's part in my home. It is solid, well built and exactly according to plan. My complaints all lie with the dealer/builder who finished it. Make sure you have a quality builder because the 15% of the work they do will make or break your home in the end. Signature's factory work was top notch. It is important to make this distinction before you buy.

The house has been delivered and it is very solid. Everything exactly like the original plan. A few minor hiccups--a missing screen, one broken drawer and the expected cracks in drywall from moving but overall in fine shape. I would buy a Signature home again without any hesitation. Their rep, Pete, and the guys doing the delivery are all top notch and professional.

I found the factory rep working with our builder to be on top of things and full of suggestions that ultimately made our floor plan more efficient and better suited to our lifestyle. Quality work and the factory tour was impressive. Will update again after delivery.
