Our Review

Editor's Rating
Editorial ReviewSea Hawk Homes is a Canadian modular home builder that we do not feel comfortable with. They have greatly frustrated our mystery shopper on multiple occasions with poor customer service. If the customer service is this poor when you are trying to gather information to buy a modular home from them, we wonder what it is like after you gin the purchase order. Their modular home floorplans look nice and their building specifications are average and meet local Canadian building codes but the customer service makes us very uncomfortable with this modular home builder. Hopefully this changes in the future.

Personal Reviews of Sea Hawk Homes

Brian from Arnprior
Told them to start our plans February 21st, to put on foundation June 15th. It's June 6th and they haven't finished the blueprints.

We purchased our home, we had some work to do with our rep. Seemed like alot but building is very complicated and they made it alot easier then my friends custom build expereince. Home was delivered about 2 weeks after basement was ready and we moved in 7 weeks later. I had some minor post delivery issues but they resolved them in a decent amount of time. They explained they don't make these parts and had to wait on the part manufacturers to get them the parts.

My parents purchased a home back in the 80s and I purchased one in the early 2000s and I have had no problems. What I liked best was it was a guaranteed price, took a day to install and I moved in like 6 weeks later.

We have put our down payment down and plans were supposed to be here and its been over a month and a half and they keep saying the end of the week, going on week 3 of this . Can't get anything started without the plans . Not a happy camper. Something needs to change there grrrr

Danielle from Westport
We still don't know about the house but we are still very angry! The person we dealt with face to face seems on the ball but the plans were late and the house was suppose to come the First of December so it made us run like chicken with no head to be told the house is not ready. This one has sold and we are out the First December to go where with two cats and a dog. We were asked " oh when would you like your house, it could be March". We bought a RV Trailer to stay in till the house is done and have to forgo some more money to make sure we do not freeze. At least it is our land, not f..ing impressed!

We purchased a SeaHawk Home a couple of years ago and are very pleased with it and have had many positive coments from others. They are very professional and if there are any problems or concerns they are worked out to our satisfaction. It is understandable that they are busy but the jobs do get done, and they want to make sure we are happy with our new home.

After further consideration, I would like to say that we are glad to see things getting finished, and we do understand that they are very busy and will get things done. They do accommdate with anything you wanted fixed or added.

B Forrest from Stittsville Ont
I would never recommend anyone purchasing a Seahawk home. We purchased ours 11 years ago and the roof of our home is a total mess because of the way in which it was installed and now to find out the maker of the shingles went bankrupt and Seawhawk never told us about this supplier and the problems associated with them. A terrible company and the after sales truly is pathetic. I only wish I could upload photos of the roof. They only used 2 nails per shingle, shoddy job for sure.

William from Ottawa
Sea Hawk homes was a great choice for me. I spent a long time researching modular homes and found them to be the best in the Ontario and Quebec region. The staff were very thorough with helping educate me in all aspects of the build. I was shown past projects and present projects in different phases of the build and felt extremely confident in the quality of the home I was going to own. Fantastic overall experience. Thank you Sea Hawk.
