|Editorial Review||Manufactured Housing Enterprises just started a new modular housing division. The floorplans and computer images look nice but it is too early to judge the quality of these modular homes. Since they just started you may be able to negotiate a better rate since they have not yet established a reputation with their modular homes. Just make sure you use an experienced local modular home builder is you pick them as the manufacturer of your modular home.|

Personal Reviews of Manufactured Housing Enterprises
Rebekah from Montague, MI
We have only lived in our MHE Modular for 5 months front and side doors leak, floor creaks in lots of areas it also shakes more then a normal house. The shower and both bathtubs have leaked and been fixed not by them. I had warped siding and shingles fixed. We have had a little t of other issues. They have sent two people out to fix the noisy floors and doors but cannot seem to find them right. I would never recommend them.

I would never recommend buying from this company we just moved in our new home after it took 5 months to get here. The quality of the workmanship is below what a child could do and that is what I can see. It's as tho they run a salvage yard and you get spare parts put on your new home. The ceiling and walls we can see the tape and will have to be redone. The cabinets each time you touch them you get a splinter. I'm my opinion I paid 70000 too much for my home. Shame on you MHE for taking advantage of disabled couples

Don't buy a modular from this company. No quality of workmanship in our home. You can see nails, (not screws) throughout our drywall. Duct work was not cut properly to fit, just shoved into space under floor cutting off air and heat because it was bent over. Doors and windows not properly placed inside of frames because their are not frames built. Lack of proper insulation makes it cold and drafty around all the windows and doors. One door put in so crooked screen wouldn't fit and it leaks. Heat vents broken but installed anyway, so they won't close. Paid extra for a upgraded front door. Their was a hold in the door which was filled in with caulk and painted over to hide it, put on our house anyway. Appliances are junk, microwave they put in is not for built in installation and they used it anyway. Stove handle broken within about six months. No care or concern for work done correctly or for quality. Please just spend your hard earned money somewhere else and get a better home.

Currently own 6 MHE homes in my Park 2-2007 1-2014 1-2015 1-2017 1-2018
All are well built insulated and hold up well for rentals
Some issues with faucets and screen doors but minor.
Great value for the money, have a Dutch and a Clayton as well.
Been in Park business for 20 years and as long as MHE holds their price will not consider another home.

wanting to buy new home. have heard several complaints from people that have purchased your home. I find that you are not keeping up with todays builders. you do not offer under mount kitchen sink or farm sink. you do not offer subway tile. when getting whole house linoleum,, you use a standard room divider strip.........check out your competitors..........none of their strips look like that!!!!! THEY HAVE STRIPS THAT MATCH THE LINO. carpeting is dated. you need to catch up with todays builders. you need to catch up with the times!!

I have been selling for MHE for last 2 years in all of NY State. Sold over 10 homes so far. Home travels 100s of miles and nothing wrong with home when get to site. Iv sold many types of homes, (REDMAN, SKYLINE, TITIAN) once home gets to site panels fallen of walls, home pain to get center lined up when installed. Homes are also build a lot better quality then other manufactured, HARDWOOD oak cabinets, not wall paper, fiber glass tubs, not plastic. Also sales rep gets back to us asap. Have not had one client have a issue with their home.

I bought it one year ago and have had constant problems. The kitchen sink needed to be replaced due to cracks and it was like pulling teeth to get them to replace it.The strips between the wall panels are coming away from the walls in several places and have fallen off completly in 3 others. The stripping around the roof line is bowed all the way around the house. It looks awful, but they say these are not covered under warranty or are within "accectable standards",whatever that means. The electrical outlets are very poorly secured and when I tried to tighten them I discovered the screws are stripped,as are the screws holding the front and rear doors. The shower/tub water connections in the second bath need to be tightened on a monthly basis to prevent them from leaking and they said it's "normal".Trying to get anything covered under the warranty is a waste of time as it takes them sereral weeks to admit theres' a problem and the service guy they sent was an absolute joke.Cancelled appts., wrong parts/no parts,no shows when scheduled.I'm going to sell as soon as I can find a buyer and I'm going to take a bath on the whole deal because I'm going to have to disclose all these problems.Stay away from this company.

I have lived in my MHE home for 8 years, purchased new. I have had to replace all the appliances within the first 4 years, my outdoor outlet quit working after 2 years, and no electrician can even traceit back to the panel. The last straw for me was just a few days ago when the kitchen cabinets fell off the wall (the cabinet backs are still on the wall). Junk, in one word.

I bought my home almost 10 years ago. It is sturdy and well built. The people at MHE are wonderful to deal with. I recommend them to anyone looking for a modular.
Tom from Franklin, PA
Absolutely loved my MHE home. Good quality, fair price.
