|Editorial Review||Hi-Tech Housing builds manufactured mobile homes and modular homes. Their mobile homes are very good for the manufactured home industry. Unfortunately their modular homes are ok but seem to be lacking when you compare them with other modular home manufacturers. They look like improved mobile homes and not like true custom built homes. Still if you do not have a big budget you should consider them since their modular homes are good for the entry level home buyer.|

I was an employee of High Tech, from the first day they opened their doors... The employees and management, strived on perfection, even though Im retired now, High Tech still puts out the best home in the premanufactured industry, and i workedfor over 5 different companys before my retirement... In my years of experience, Id highly reccomend them, over most of the other manufacturers in the area...

I was an employee of high tech for several years. and was employed by several more premanufactured housing corps. with a total of 30 yrs experience.. In my opinion hi-tech makes the highest quality home on the market... shipping and setting up the home does, a lot of damage.. but, the repairs are the responsibility of the setup crew, and most setup crews, are hired by the home owner... the home's are continuosly inspected for quality, until the time their transfered off the lot, at hi tech...

My husband and I purchased a 2009 mobile home and the shower began leaking from inside the walls. Also, we have a broken window from when it was set, we were promised it would be fixed back in August...it is still broken. The fittings are terrible, very poor quality. Can't wait to sell it, we will take a terrible hit as we will never get close to what we paid. Lesson learned!

Very very displeased with the entire process and we would not give any recommendations. We will continue to spread the work on how displeased we are and show this project to as many people as possible.

Since moving in June 2006, our family has had several problems with our home. Too many to mention.

I am a Hi-Tech dealer located in Illinois. I have not had any problems with any of the Hi-Tech homes both Hud and Modular that I have sold. I also do 6 month, 1 year, and 3 year follow ups with my customers and have not had any complaints. The materials used to build a home from the inside out is what sets Hi-Tech apart from any of it's competition. I have also visited many factories over the years and Hi-Tech employees from white collar to blue collar all have great attitudes and enjoy what they do and if you ever visit the plant you will not leave there with any unanswered questions.

I have been and continue to sell and general contract modular homes built by Hi-Tech Housing, Inc. I do business in an area of many inland lakes and also Lake Michigan. My market is primarily second home customers building highly custom homes. Hi-Tech has been very adaptable to any floor plan that I put in front of them. Also, the quality of the homes built is phenomenal. I would put the quality of a Hi-Tech modular home up against any other builder, whether site built or modular. Great product!

As a builder of family homes, I take my responsibility very seriously. I know that homeowners expect high quality and a solid long term investment in their family's largest purchase. Partnering with Hi-Tech Housing to provide our homebuyers with the best available home was one of our best decisions. We toured many manufacturer's plants and called references to make sure we did as much due dilligence as possible. We feel very fortunate to have found Hi-Tech Housing, a responsive and knowledgeable modular manufacturer who offers great flexibility and a willingness to help our firm grow.

I sold Hi-Tech Modular homes for a few years. I thought it was an excellent product, not without some flaws put nothing is perfect. Hi-Tech was a great product, with the custom floorplans to the factory tours. I would build another for sure.
