Editorial Review | Guerdon Homes has a long history but in 2001 it was reinvented into its current state. They now build only commerical projects and these are something to admire. This is a company to look into if you are close to the factory. Their quality is good and reliable. Their revised focus on commercial projects give us good confidence that it will continue. |

Personal Reviews of Guerdon Enterprises, LLC

We own a 1997 Guerdon Summerhill.3 bed 2 bath.I would say 4 stars. This is a Super Good Cents all electric home.It is amazing how well it holds heat in the winter and I believe the most I payed for power is around $200 when it was way below 0 for a week and a half.Average around $130 a month for an all electric home.Skylight leaked 6 years ago and had to replace it.The flooring isn't even which is frustrating, cheap carpet and cheap appliances but we upgraded all the appliances.Poor ventilation in the bathrooms caused some issues so we will have to remodel the bathrooms.Yes these can be big issues but also can be repaired so overall the best quality is the small electric bill year round in an all electric home. Will be selling soon for a bigger double wide or house.

I would honestly have to rate this company at 0 stars. We've had to replace the floor multiple times for leaking, leaking through the windows, roof work multiple times, new appliances etc.

Second owner 1975 Longmont home #1455 and would like info and a Guerdon emblem for for my home we are extremely happy with our home and would like to get more info on this home if any is available the floor p[lan seemed to be designed for Us .

Bought this home as the third owner. I need to replace the outlet covers, am having a hard time finding this type of snap on covers. The house is a 1993. I have to say this house has really lasted well. With care it will last a very long time.

We are the second purchaser of a 1996 Guerdon (Celebration) 28'x64' mobile home and it still is in great shape. One window broke, but we replaced it. The skylight went bad about 1 year ago and will have that fixed or taken out. Other than that very happy with this home. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Don't like the jet tub cause hard to get into and out of so suggest you make it easy for elderly to get in and out of it in the future. Me, I prefer large showers with rounded edge seat to shave legs or to wash dog more easily by sitting.

I purchased a Guerdon Manufactured home in 1991. I was told the roof had a 30 guarantee of 30 years. I had to replace the whole roof in 2009 at a cost of $4500. Also had problems with skylights leaking. Never could get them to stop leaking. Now I have to replace the siding and windows. I will not buy a second one.

We purchase our Guerdon Statler home in 1980 manufactured in Stayton, Oregon. We are still living in it. It is beautiful! Our guests compliment us on the beauty of our home. After the years we have added wood floors new carpet, but that is natural wear and tear. Although our Guerdon home was manufactured in Oregon at a different plant. WE LOVE IT!!

Dad's brand new 1992 Centennial was junk in now time. The roof and skylights all leaked in less than 5 years, sliding door area rotted the floor, window seals broken in no time. Poor workmanship, not worth the money. I wouldn't even give it 1 star.

I have a 94 guerdon and I just love raised 5 kids. lived in it for 25 or more years. I just love it 3 bdrms,mb,mstrbd.11/4 bath roughly 1400sq./ft. bought it used had it moved from caldwell but anyway you have to do repairs just like on anything else or a regular house there is always something I haven,t had any bad problems to even wright just love my house and the floor plan lots of cupboards in kitchen.(double closet in masterbdrm with french folding doors would be nice or two doors open wide. Walls are all white cathedral ceilings. anyway I thank you for my house and I got to raise my 5 children here and coming from the big CA. thankyou so much.

My home is a1964 model I am moving it out to get a new model a 14x70 clayton I am hoping it will last 50 years like the model you built thank you for all of the great years I have enjoyed in it

we just purchased a guerdon americana 1994. need to the approx worth in order to buy insurance. we already found that there is difficulty since most co do not write insurance for mobile homes. thanks

I think this is the same Guerdon thst produced my Magnolia in Vicksburg MS. Its a 1978 and many people griped about them - but mine is still solid as a rock. Go Guerdon

well i just bought my guerdon home so i will give the price 5 stars, i dont live there just yet so i will have to evaluate that. i wanted to know the value of a 1969 guerdon double wide 2 bedroom 2 bath??? any help would be great.

I own a 1993 guerdon singlewide and am amazed at how CHEAP the home was made. I had to COMPLETELY UPGRADE all the switches and outlets to meet code, the house was wired with RV style wiring devices that arent sold locally. the appliances are OK, but generic versions of name brands... the materials used for the outside trim are junk. masonite.... total junk. I'm having to repair that, and having a rough time replacing it as the materials have improved over the years. so, thats an upgrade.... the paint jon on the house was cheaply done... just a cheap "primer" to suffice and colored trim... the paint is failing on the south side of my home and they didnt even add rain gutters on the house! anyway, Guerdon is GARBAGE! Don't Buy their homes! new or used.....

My Guerdon was built in 1993. I am the 2nd owner, the 1st purchased new. I bought it in 2003. It's a simple rectangular type home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Why am I unhappy? Today I discovered water damage on the westside outer wall. To my disgust I discovered that behind the outer wooden 4 X 8 standard mobile home sheets were the 2X6's, the pink insulation and then the inner sheetrock to the house. I couldn't believe my eyes. Are you serious? I'm not a builder. I wrongly assumed that Guerdons were well built based on word of mouth. However, even with my limited knowledge of home building, I've seen dozens of homes built with 5 basic layers of a wall. The sheetrock, 2X6's, insulation, plywood sheets on outside, then a barrier paper and then the outer sheets. This house has the outer sheets, 2X6's, insulation and then the sheetrock!!! Having discovered this I can never in good conscience recommend a used Guerdon home to anyone. This one is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you'll find.

I made the purchase of a guerdon home in 2005 and I am already facing the fact of having to replace my roof because of "POOR" workmanship and your so-called quallity of work. I think you people need to be building bird house's not homes- This is the worst construction I have every been witnessed to in my 63 yrs. You should be ashamed to actually be selling these homes.

We own a 1990 doublewide that we purchased new and it is now 2010. I have to say that, yes, we have replaced all skylights and windows with the Milgard brand and replaced the roof & sinks and upgraded to tile floor in some areas. But by and large, the carpet and appliances except for the fridge has held up well, especially being 20 years old. The oak cabinets look good from the outside but the drawers lack quality to be sure. We had some issues when we first got it and found the company a little hard to contact/respond as I remember. But, by & large it has been a fairly decent home.

Our home was bought new in 2004. These homes come with the cheapest appliances possible. The toilets need upgraded immediately because the flappers leak (had to replace all three), then the toilets usually require 3 flushes to work. The doorknobs are cheap. The faucet in the kitchen started leaking within a month. Most frustrating part has to be the drawers. The cheap wood they use to mount the runners splits and drawers sag and won't close right. They do use staples to mount the runners. Too many other things to mention. Do not recommend.

Our company purchased 36 Guerdon units and have found them very difficult to deal with behind the unfront smiles when difficulties arise watch out. You are welcome to call me directly to discuss further, 604-782-9107.

We purchased a 1993 Guerdon in 1995 from Kenco in Vancouver, Wa. This has been the expeirencefrom hell. We have had a leaking roof for 10 years with no back up from this company. The home was manufactured in Idaho, it was a lot demo. We love it very much but the leaks have ruined everything. The floor has a large bulge in the utility room, needs to be repaired. All of the"LIFETIME" wndows are all fogged up, there are 8 of them.We have contacted people and get no where. I thought that businesses were supposed to stand behind their products. The new roof this year set us back 6000.00 and this should not of happened.Roofers from chehalis were sent to repair this. They did not even lay this roffing correctly and it leaked worse. The skylights have been repaired and replaced. the fan in the bath never worked and that too had to be repaired at our cost. We were told by your people reps, that Guerdon no longer existed and now I find this site.I feel that there should be some help or compensation for our misery. I have all records showing the so called repairs When, who, times and names.I would be so happy to have one of your reps come see the disaster that we have had to try and repair out of our pockets. There are no brands on the Windows so we cant even get help to replace them.I have talked to MIke Booth in 1998--Mike Pierce (Tacoma)John Meyers, Please please contact us.There is much moreto tell. This home is a Columbia MOdel 4604A Serial #G983A4704R Thankyou for your space!!!
