Editorial Review | Commander Home divides their focus between modular homes and manufactured mobile homes. If you are looking for a cheap mobile home then Commander Home might be a good match but if you are looking for a quality modular home that will blend in well with traditional stick-built homes you should look at another modular home provider. Our opinion is that they offer too little in a market with many other modular options. Their website does contain floorplans of their models but that is about all you will find. |

Personal Reviews of Commander Homes

We bought a new 2002 Commander in 2001. I like the layout but have problems w/ the 25 year roof, no paperwork, been repaired numerous times. Ins. Co. says roofing company is responsible. Who is the company? I was measuring a few windows for blinds and the windows were wider at the top than they were at the window sill! Walls are uneven, too. Very bad workmanship. My main concern is the roof because we picked out the 25 year warranty roof. Waiting to hear from you.

Bought the house 2 years ago and things are falling apart. Cabinets are junk as they are falling apart, bathroom fixtures stopped working, and now we are having electrical issues. Don't by commander of I could I would give it 0 stars

My husband and I bought a new mobile home in 2003 ,We had tp have a list of around 15 things fixed including a completly new set of shingles on the roof. The plaster has come off the bathroom ceilings, the windows are broken, and both the bathroom showers leak.Today I noticed the washroom doorway was wet and rotted out.I feel like I was definetly mislead about the quality of the home I bought.I would not recommend Commander Housing to anyone.

No happy with this home at all. Customer service is rude and not helpful at all. Windows are broke and roof is horrible. IKO shingles were installed and whole roof is horrible. Wish there was somewhere I could post the pics. They are unbelieveable. Champion is no help when you need paperwork. DO NOT BUY!!!

We have had our for 10 yrs and we totally love it! We have done some remodling, ie: new kitchen, bathrooms carpet ect. We knew this would be done before we bought it. Everytime I have had to call for something, they have nothing but helpful! Would totally work with them again! this home was reasonable priced and we done things to totally upgrade.

We have lived in our home for 8 years- we have had little or no repairs to this house-appliances, furnace hot water tank-- all in good working condition. Cabinets, flooring-all good.

My house was a brand new one that had been foreclosed on before anyone could live in it. When i bought it, it was only three years old and the roof leaks. contacted company to see if there was any kind of warranty. paid a lot of money for this house that is supposed to have a 30 year roof. pretty bad it only lasted 2. would not recommend this company if they can't stand behind their product. Now i have to pay for a new roof! on a now 8 year old home.

I purchased a new 2008 commander mobile home 2/2010 and have had nothing but problems and cannot get Murphy Homes in Little Suamico Wi to do any of the repairs. He will not send me the title or any of the warranties for the home or appliances in it. Windows are broke tub and toilets are chipped flooring is cut in both bathrooms and kitchen and the carpet is put in very badly called him many times with nothing done.

We would not recommend buying a Commander home. The workmanship is shoddy-cupboards are pulling away from the wall, seam is visible, heating/cooling system is poor, front door leaks, floors are squeaky, poor customer service.

poor quality, do not fix things, very bad customer service....do not buy
