Our Review |

| Editorial Review | Sunshine Homes is an above average modular home provider for entry level buyers. Their floorplans are not spectacular but this family owned business does take great pride in their workmanship and customer service. They have established a long reputation of quickly responding to their customers. This is a good value option for modular home buyers but it is probably not the best option for upscale home buyers. |

Personal Reviews of Sunshine Homes
linda Freeze from broaddus tx I have a sunshine home 2000 the last 5years the floor has started to develope yellow spots the problem is the glue on under the flooring no one will talk to me about it. I'm not pleased at all with my home the floor needs replacing. unacceptable Sharon Burton from Vian, Ok. We bought our presidential home in aug. 2008 and we still can not get work done on it. We have bowed walls cracked tub due to it being force in an opening to small for the tub. Cracks galore in sheetrock walls, siding bowing out and seperating at seems for water to run behined. I love my house, but the service is very bad and I'm beginning to think the quality is poor also. Sunshine has been out about 4 times to fix things and they dont fix them they just patch over things. We upgrade every thing in this home and was our retirement home. We have also had alot of problems with Elite homes who we bought it through. Very bad service. Stay away from them. Shirley Gray from Cameron, La We bought our Sunshine Presidential after Hurricane Rita. After 3 weeks we had mold on the ceiling over the MB tub, around the exhaust fan and in the guest bath and guest BR. The factory did not seal the duct work around the heater. About six months later the mold came back they came and sprayed it with clorox and said all was okay. about a month later it came back so they send an air induction tester and found there were leaks coming from the sealing. Before any thing could be done about it Hurrican IKE came and flooded it so the factory says all of my problems are storm related which is impossible since the problems started before the storm. Also when it was delivered and set up the top did not meet but the installers said it was no problem they would cover it up. Little did we know at the time but because of the gap at the top the marriage seal was not even touching. This we found out after the hurricane because we gutted everything and you can see the seal was not even touching. Therefore, I feel all of my mold problems was because of the marriage seal not sealing and all of the hot air from the attic was meeting the cold air in the home and causing humidity therefore the black mold which was behind all of the crown molding when we gutted the mobile home after IKE. Also the front half is not square which is probably why it would not go together at the top. As far as construction it does not even get one star. Service from the factory might get half a star. But the overall beauty of the inside gets a 5 star. This was my dream home and I am very disappointed that the factory will not work with me in any way. I had the home 13mo. and 6 days before IKE. SUSAN HOFFPAUIR from Winnie, Texas We have went through 3 hurricanes in our sunshine trailer. Andshe is still standingtall and proud, and so are we, we may evev buy a new one. Tough built to last.
