Editorial ReviewSafeway Homes is a one of the modular providers rebuilding the Gulf Coast. They currently do not build homes larger than 1450 sq. ft. Their homes may not be mansions but their hurricane tiedowns are what matters in an area rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina. They have been featured by numerous news agencies because of their superior hurricane protection. This is not to say their homes are hurricane proof. But after looking at their building specifications and special tiedowns I'd prefer to take my chances in one of their homes. The frustrating part is that it took them 10 days to respond to our mystery shopper email. If you decide to use this company you should wonder if they can build on time.
