| Editorial Review | Future Home Technology is a good modular home provider for the New York area. Their facility is relatively new and modern. They have developed a good reputation amongst the home builders we interviewed. Future Homes will be more expensive than the homes from manufacturers in Pennsylvania since their labor costs are slightly higher but we would think it would be smart for home buyers to consider this extra expense as it will reduce the travel distance and stress placed on the home modules thus resulting in a stronger home. |

Personal Reviews of Future Home Technology, Inc.
Lisa from Hurley, NY Not happy at all with my home. It has been nothing but problems. The 2nd story rear deck railings fall off when you touch them! The three season room leaks and there is such a big gap from the floor to the bottom of the door that it gets filled with snow and bugs! Contractor said we should have stated we wanted it to stay dry! We paid to have our basement rubberized and did everything possible to keep in dry. Planned to eventually add some rooms down there and it is nothing but wet with puddles after the slightest bit of rain-mold starting to creep up the sheetrock down there now and I have kids with health issues, which we explained to the builder when we did the home. Paid to have sliders, regular windows, heaters, etc down there for nothing I guess. Linoleum flooring has cut marks in it. Had problems with the electric too! cliff potter from 06472 they did not nail our roof properly, they stapled it, now am spending almost 7,000 to correct their defects after 10 years.. Maureen from Sudbury, MA 2005 construction. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. Here goes! Love my 5 bedroom 4 bath colonial. Gorgeous kitchen. 9 foot ceilings. Ample space for my family. No problems whatsoever. Builder Mike Fitzatrick was great. The home is beautiful. No complaints. Quality from attic to basement. People can't believe it's modular! Many many many drive-by admirers and people asking for a tour. No regrets. Highly recommend Future Homes and the builder Mike FitzPatrick-Douglas, MA Carolyn from Ulster County This is long overdue, our Future Home was set in April 2007. We had a FABULOUS Contractor in Joe Tumasian--truly THE BEST guy to work with. Future Homes worked with us and our contractor perfectly. We have been in our home for 1 1/2 years and my only complaints are about what "I" selected as counter choices. Would HIGHLY recommend a home from Joe and Future Homes! John from Albany NY Between the builder Morgan Home Builders and the mod dealer Future Home Tech. My experience has been terrible. 5 months over delivery date still not compleated. Kitchen floor wavy, sheet rock taping very wavy needs to be redone, kitchen cabenits were not fastened to wall and or shimed properly and have cracked and need replacment, front door to house fits terribly (even after the attemps to adjust) and is all dented, House was delivered with the wrong siding on it, screens on more then 12 windows do not fit properly, closet racks not anchored properly and ripped away ftrom wall, Kitchen island counter has a belly in the middle, imperfections on mirriors and shower arm loose in wall. In responce to my complaints (many weeks of no return calls and general DUHH... attitude) They finally acknowlaged the problems DEC 2007 and we are still waiting for the resolve they promised FEB 2008. I am Very dissatisfied and would NOT RECCOMEND either company
